These are short duration rides ranging from 1 day to 4-5 days. They are adventure by definition. Minimum number of riders 2. 

  SSK 036 9 Amazing Breakfast Runs/Day Outings out of Nairobi

Here are rides that may interest veteran riders and serious motorcyclists who traveled extensively with us in days gone by  looking for well-organized, tried and tested one day rides out of Nairobi.Check out the quarterly schedule and plan to attend. 2 weeks prior to the ride there will be added information incl route. Confirmations to attend will be recieved until wednesday before ride date.

SSK 037 Ukambani Kibwezi Umani Springs 2 Days 1 Night

This 2 day trip covers Machakos, Kibwezi and Kitui over a distance of over 540 kms of which 150 is all weather sandy road between Kitui and Kibwezi.An alternate route is the reverse "b" route Nairobi-Machakos-Kitui-Kibwezi  

SSK 038/039  Lakes Baringo and Bogoria at Roberts Camp

This 3 day ride is entirely in the rift valley starting off in Nairobi and visits the lake Baringo region where we camp at Roberts camp.This ride incorporates SSK 039 combining both Lake Baringo and Bogoria

SSK 040 Samburu Maralal Annual International Camel Derby

This tour to Northern Kenya's Samburu District is timed to coincide with the Annual International Camel Derby held in Maralal.The ride to Maralal (2200 m a.s.l) our destination is through Nyahururu town with a return trip through the other Road via Isiolo and Samburu-Shaba-Buffalo Springs Reserves and although we do not cross national parks we do pass through wildlife dispersal areas, so encounters with wildlife are assured.

These are real adventure tours requireing basic planning; they cover long distances and are usually over 5 days and upto one month. A minimum number of 2 -4  riders and a support vehicle is a usually included. 

SSK 041 Lake Turkana at Kalokol Adventure 5-7 days

 A 5 day adventure trip which has become the must do before you die.Become a member of the club of the few to ride to the lake.(Read more about a past trip and pics)This ride can be done any time of year since we are on tarmac most of the time and the road beyond Kapenguria is sandy

 SSK 042 Hemingways Country "the Green hills of Africa" Chyulu Hills

What a tour...! revisit the country that inspired one of the best writers on Africa, celebrated american Ernest Hemingway. visit the Chyulus, Amboseli and Mt Kilimanjaro National Parks. Although we do not cross National Parks we do pass through wildlife dispersal areas, and encounters with wildlife are assured.

SSK 043 Coast Tsavo East, Malindi and South Coast 5 Days

This is a 5 day Coast trip through Tsavo East National Park which is a must do for anyone who wants to see the Coast on a bike and ride through a spectacular NP. From South Coasts Marine Reserves we head North through the back roads of Shimba Hills .Although we do not cross National Parks we do pass through wildlife dispersal areas, and encounters with wildlife are assured.

The following are Applicable to all Tours

Prices (per person) include:

-Services of a trained and experienced English speaking guide
-Logistic and technical support
-Accommodation (shared hotel rooms - individual tents)
-Access to satellite communications (pay per minute)
-Tents and communal camping equipment when required
-Emergency medical equipment and support
-Administrative services including border liaison
-Mechanical assistance - extra costs incurred to third parties are not included
-Recovery assistance - extra costs incurred to third parties are not included

-Motorcycle Hire
-Expenses of personal nature such as laundry, beverages, tips etc.
-Feul and spares or service for the bikes
-Drinking water
-Travel insurance - personal effects and medical (must include emergency medical treatment and repatriation)
-Road and bridge tolls
-Game park fees, or fees associated with other specific tourist activities
-Sleeping equipment (e.g. sleeping bag, air mattress)
-Flights
-Miscellaneous local administrative and border fees
-Third party vehicle insurance
-All motorcycle repair or recovery costs incurred to third parties
-Oil
-Spares
-Carnet de Passage
