Tanzania's offers the highest mountain in Africa and possibly the most breathtaking imaginable. Parks include Serengeti National Park, which has the greatest concentration of migratory game animals in the world, Lake Manyara National Park, famous for lions that sprawl on trees. Others include Arusha and Tarngire National Parks.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area covering 8,920 sq. kms is a vast protected area that includes the still active Ol-Ndoinyo Lengai, Olduvai Gorge has been described as one of the great natural wonders of the world.

Southern Tanzania, offers Selous National Park where Elephants, crocodiles and hippos in rivers and buffaloes dominate. Other southern parks include Ruaha and Mikumi.

Balloon safaris can be arranged in Serengeti @ US$480 per person. Drifting gracefully above the savannah as you watch the wildlife awaken, then landing to a sumptous bush breakfast with champagne served as the sun warms the plains is well worth the early morning call.
